A curated NFT marketplace called SuperRare (RARE) is designed for curating one-of-a-kind items. Revenues are predominantly driven from primary sales with some revenue coming from SuperRare’s secondary marketplace. The SuperRare DAO and the launch of the RARE token, as well as the introduction of Spaces, community-curated retail spaces for NFT artists, were both announced in August 2021. Every space will have its own chosen operators who sign up artists who meet the requirements for that space. The SuperRare DAO uses the RARE token as a governance and curation token. It complies with ERC-20 standards. On-chain governance is held for SuperRare. Three key use cases make up the governance of the SuperRare DAO at the moment: SuperRare Spaces, artist onboarding, and treasury operations and management.
