Radicle is a peer-to-peer, open-source network for software collaboration. The network is a gossip replication system built on Git that is based on Radicle Link. The security of project data is further ensured via an opt-in interface with Ethereum. Users may also control and finance decentralized software projects thanks to it. RAD is an Ethereum network-compliant ERC-20 utility coin. It serves primarily as the Radicle DAO's governance token and controls the network's (optional) Ethereum integration smart contract and DAO Treasury. Users of Radicle have the option to use specific smart contracts at a cost if they choose to use the Ethereum integration of the network. When holding the token, RAD holders can get costs reduced or waived. Using RAD tokens (and other ERC-20 tokens), users can also pay teams and developers.
