Cryptex Finance is an Ethereum-based system that provides access to the whole cryptocurrency market capitalization for investors, traders, funds, and DeFi users. The protocol uses smart-contract implementations to generate a synthetic asset called TCAP that follows the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies and tokens listed on the biggest crypto data providers in the world. It does this by utilizing over-collateralization methods and blockchain oracles. Chainlink, Coinmarketcap, Nomics, Coin Paprika, and Coin Lore are some of these data providers. Within the Cryptex Finance ecosystem, the ERC-20 utility and governance token CTX has a number of applications.
